Collegeville-Trappe High School Class of 1967
Welcome to CTHS Class of 67 Website!

We want to thank everyone for making our 50th reunion such a huge success. Forty two classmates came from far and near to enjoy the weekend festivities.  The 50th reunion activities began on August 4th when approximately 50 CTHS alumni gathered for an evening of socializing with our fellow alumni at the Trappe Tavern. The event was open to anyone who attended CTHS, not just the class of 1967 and we enjoyed renewing old friendships and making some new ones. In addition to the class of 1967, the classes of 1954, 1965, 1966 and 1968 were all well represented.  Take a moment to check out the pictures from Trappe Tavern that have been posted to this website.

The main reunion event was held on Saturday, August 5th in the ballroom of the Copperfield Inn.  We had reserved the ballroom and an adjacent gathering room to provide plenty of space and privacy for our gathering and we needed all that space since we had 42 classmates, 20 spouses and 5 special guests in attendance. The dining room was tastefully decorated with red and gold linens and each table had a unique centerpiece with red and gold roses in mason jars that were covered with images of how we looked 50 years ago.  One table was reserved for our special guests of honor: Bill and Joyce Fretz; Ed and Brenda Hanna; Mary Ellen and Glenn DeWane; and Frank 'Doc' Manley.  Unfortunately, a sudden illness prevented Coach Fretz and his wife from attending so we all wish the Coach a speedy recovery.  As for the other 'chaperones', it certainly appeared that they all enjoyed themselves as much as we enjoyed having them there.  There was also a memorial table set up to honor the eleven classmates who are no longer with us and a memorabilia table to hold old photos, scrap books, newspaper clippings, slide shows and other memorable items from our High School days.  For a special nostalgic touch, music from the 60's was piped throughout the evening.

Hors d'oeuvres were available in the gathering room until the dinner was ready and there was a cash bar available all evening. The dinner buffet included three delicious main entrees of london broil, chicken marsala and stuffed flounder as well as the chef's choice of vegetables and starch.  Salad, bread, an assortment of desserts, coffee and tea were also available. The Copperfield Inn did a wonderful job in hosting our reunion and feeding all of us.  After dinner we enjoyed several hours of uninterrupted mingling, talking, joking, reminiscing, laughing, crying, and picture taking.  Take a moment to browse through all the pictures that have been posted from the reunion and we think you'll agree that it looks like everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.  We want to thank everyone for attending and hope that everyone made it home safely and will return to our next reunion.
