Then: Trouble is his middle name ... Airplane fanatic ... drives a red horse ... "I'll say!"

Now: God has been very good to me and our family. I have been very fortunate despite a somewhat less than stellar high school career! I am married to my high school sweetheart (Patricia Perna of St Pius / Royersford) living in the same home our entire life near Green Lane (Woxall). Pat works at the Harleysville National Bank as a Teller. I am now a very part time business & computer consultant and grandfather. We have 2 daughters. Kelly is married and lives a mile away with our three grandsons (Ben, Sam and Eli) and son-in-law Greg. Kurstan has moved back home and works in West Chester. After high school I spent 2 years in the Navy on an aircraft carrier and then 4 years in the reserves at Willow Grove. I worked for the phone company from high school until 2003 when I retired after 35 years – having been a central office technician, engineer, operations supervisor, manager and director.
My current interests include radio controlled model airplanes and helicopters, computers and home theater / computer integration, caring for the house & yard work and bike riding on the Perkiomen trail. I am a news / political junkie of the conservative persuasion (AM990 & AM1210). We enjoy big extended family vacations at the outer banks - Corolla and Duck, NC as well as Disney in Florida with the grandkids. I am a Red Cross Disaster Services volunteer and have enjoyed doing volunteer work in Appalachia (West Virginia) with a church group the past 2 years.
I often reflect on high school, the good times and missed opportunities. I was saddened to see the “memorial page” of our departed classmates and hope that everyone else is doing well. Thank you to the Copes of their effort to keep us in contact.
Best Regards,
Bob Lane
