Then: Has a way for consuming two milkshakes in 10 seconds ... convertibles galore ... money is not problem .. alias 'Arnold Palmer.' ... "Tell 'em, Bob."
Now: The cordidence of my life history from 1967-present Graduated from community college in 1969 with an associate in applied science degree. I continued my education at Spring Garden College in Philadelphia majoring in electrical engineering. Graduated in 1971 with a bachelor of science degree. I started my working profession with Hittman Medical Systems located in Skippack Township. I was employed as a field engineer and traveled the country repairing cardio-vascular and neurological systems for doctor's offices and hospitals. The career lasted 9 years when the company relocated to Columbia, Maryland. There were 7 of us asked to relocate but nobody went and the company folded 1 year later. I landed another job in the matter of 2 days with C&D Technologies INC, the manufacture of batteries and electronic charging equipment used for switch-gear and tele-communication installations through out the country and abroad. The interview was 4 hours in length seeing 6 different engineers. When I left there I had one hell of a headache! I no sooner got home from C&D Headquarters and was asked to call C&D Human Resources. The call was positive and I started as a lab technician in the engineering lab. I spent from 1981-1984 writting programs and trouble shooting electronic charging equipment. The job then led to a management postion in field operations. I used my electronic skills to trouble shoot charging equipment and lectured to various nuclear plants through out the U.S. At the same time I operated my own part-time business Neurological Services INC. in which i continued to repair hospital equipment through out the country. Presently I'm in my 28th year at C&D Technologies in a continuing postion as service manager with the battery side of the business I'm known as a well rounded diversified player for C&D Technologies. Social Activity and the most important in my life I met my wife "Linda" while dancing on the bar at Lakeside Inn with Joan Royce the owners daughter. At the time Linda was married and in the process of a seperation and of course I was divorced. We married exactly 1 month after her divorce was final. We joined forces July 17th, 1982. We were united under an old apple tree at my parents farmhouse located in Skippack Township. God it was hot! 98 degrees in the shade and over 100 degrees in the sun. We didn't know it at the time, Linda was pregnant the same day with our beautiful daughter Lisa. Linda has 2 boys by her first marriage. Mark who is 33 and lives in King of Prussia and Brian 29, who is recently married and lives with his wife in Sassamansville. We took the brude from my parents farmhouse in Skippack to a home in Pottstown near the north coventry mall. ( I hated it! No Privacy) We put the house up for sale about a year and a half later and moved to an old farmhouse built in 1790 with a bank barn, smoke house, pigpen, and a chicken coupe surrounded by 12 acres of ground. Nice place to raise a family without neighbors looking over your shoulder.Over the years we have had the enjoyment of 6 dogs, 16 cats, 5 horses, 40 rhode island red chickens, and also a lot of grass to cut. (not smoke) Together with Linda's true ability in interior decorating and my ambition to use carpentry tools such as a t-square, level, and circular saw have made the farmhouse a well decorated fantastic place to live. It's Home in my book! Linda took care of the household duties and was employed at The Limerick Diner for 18 years. She now is employed with Feceras Furniture located in Limerick. Our daughter Lisa is employed at Kiddie Academy of collegeville where she ia a teacher. Brian is a crew leader at Wells And Sons Chimney Service. Mark works at 84 Lumber.
