Jean Donahue (Brusch)
Comments
Then: Spirited cheerleader ... everybody's secretary ... personality plus ... gal full of giggles ... "You little bugger!!!"
Now: Jean and Ken are combining our profiles -- why not? Everything else has been combined forever. We have lived in South Coventry for the past 17 years and we are both STILL working. Jean is an X-Ray technician and continues to work for Dr. Donahue (no relation), an orthopedic surgeon in Pottstown (only 27 years now), and Ken is now Assistant Superintendent at Spring-Ford Area School District (starting the 3rd year of his contract). If either of us retires, we will have to do work at home, so right now that is out of the question! We have two sons (Jeff and Eric). Jeff has given us three grandchildren (Hailey - 11, Evan - 8, and Aidan - 5). Jeff and the kids live in Douglassville, only about 20 minutes over the hill from South Coventry, and we get to see the kids most weekends. Eric and his wife Jen live in Pottstown, about 15 minutes in the other direction. Hobbies? Right now, we really don't seem to have time for any-- we are on the go most of the time. Ken has too many nights out with meetings at school and Jean spends a lot of time with the grandkids when she can. We try to go see Bucknell football games as much as possible -- tailgating outside the stadium has been a lot of fun! Since our 20th anniversary, we have splurged and vacationed in the Caribbean each summer. Jean still snorkels as much as possible, but Ken usually sits on the beach with a book and something cold to drink. Hope to see as many of you as possible -- thank you Greg and Dawn for pulling the group together.
